I had the privilege on Wednesday of visiting a local book club hosted by Karolyn McDaniel. The McDaniel family hardware store here in Snohomish was an inspiration for the small store owned by Jonathan Beecher, the main character in IT IS WELL. I had a wonderful time talking history, Snohomish, and IT IS WELL with the members of the club, who belong to the Presbyterian church here in town. Thank you again for the honor of the invitation!
